The special Top 10 Pipelines report appears in the January issues of both magazines. “Speed and efficiency are key as drug developers face rising R&D costs, long regulatory reviews, and increasingly complex clinical trials,” noted the magazines’ 11th annual report on the world’s leading healthcare companies. Cited as recent examples of Amgen’s pipeline momentum were the approval of Vectibix™ (panitumumab), the acquisition of Avidia and the development of AMG 706.
